"Earning from Home: How Joining Avon Worked for Us"

This industry, our business, and our brand—along with its heritage, future, and the chance to connect with new customers—bring us together as a team. Everything my husband Adrian and I do is centered sharing our experiences to enhance our team's businesses and boost their earnings.

I want to highlight three key lessons from my journey with Avon that have significantly shaped my purpose.

First, it's about belief—having faith in yourself and your capabilities.

Second, consistency in the small daily actions you take to create a larger vision is crucial.

Lastly, being part of a community that is truly special, unique, and powerful is invaluable.

In 2009, after Adrian lost the chance for overtime pay, I joined Avon to supplement our income, starting with a £300 order. My team expanded rapidly, and by 2011, I had become an Advanced Sales Leader, with Adrian also stepping into a Sales Leader role.

After being made redundant in January 2015, I applied for several jobs while still working as a Sales Leader. Ultimately, I decided to invest my redundancy pay—equivalent to about two months' salary—into focusing on Avon full-time.

Since becoming Sales Leaders, our financial situation has improved significantly. We've enjoyed two foreign holidays each year for the past six years, and we always pay for Christmas in advance, avoiding any debt into the New Year.

By 2018, my earnings matched my previous full-time job, but without the early starts or long commutes. I work from home, enjoy weekly lunches with friends, and feel much happier and less stressed.

In 2024, our goal is to achieve Executive Leader status and earn around £40K while sharing our experiences to help our team succeed.
